Are most Savage riders fairly average sized? I just bought one for 700 bucks, beautiful shape, no dents, I rubbed the scratches out with turtle wax rubbing compound. Bright orange, lots of chrome. Course, they changed the head gaskets and the cam chain adjuster was just bouncing around (talk about sounding like a sewing machine) Got it all taken care of. Waxed it up, polished the chrome. I weigh about the same amount as the bike. 350 give or take, and Im 6 foot tall. My first bike, and Iveonly had it afew days, but I drove it about 50 miles without any soreness or stiffness.. Enjoyed the hell out of it, it doesnt even seem to lack response with my fat rear on it, and even though it exceeded the weight, I had a girl on the back, only for 10 miles or so. It responds really well, I was worried about it not being able to pull me you know? I notice that people wave to me, others on bikes, its like being in a club. Sort of like driving my old Nova around and all the old car drivers would wave and nod to me. If they look at my bike closely and actually see what Im driving will they laugh at me? Fat mannnn on alitttttllee bikkeee. Also, can anyone tell me about parking the bike, do you get bothered if you park it on the sidewalk, or up next to the side of the building? I see people doing it sometimes, but I dont want to be an ass or do something not normally done. One more thing, do I need to do something like chain my front tire? How common is it that people just pick your bike up and throw it in a truck or hotwire it and drive it away? Thanks! Email me at EtudiantDeVie@AOL.com or reply to the post, thanks!
